As teens we all have our tempting moments. Whether it's going or sneaking into that R movie we shouldn't, going out with people we shouldn't, or even just talking about someone. There is so much peer pressure in our world. "Do this, Drink that, Come on, everyone else is!" Sometimes we feel so pressed that we feel the only choice to choose is the one pushed in our face. WRONG. 2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee youthful lusts, but pursue righteousness." Righteousness. Root word being RIGHT. Knowing that God wants us to do the right think and to follow him instead of the crowd should be enough. But we all know sometimes in our minds, it just doesn't cut it. It's always, "What am I going to get out of this?" Besides God's eternal love and respect, you get Psalms 37:4. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Wait. What does that mean? Well, do things for the Lord and he will provide for you. It's a give, give situation that'd definitely rewarding.
